The New Village Hub
Carlsbad Village Association Unveils New Website
The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA), a nonprofit dedicated to the improvement of Carlsbad Village, is introducing a new, responsive website in order to continually improve user access to events and information about Carlsbad Village. The new site, www.carlsbad-village.com, offers easier navigation and an increase in the amount of content available to users. Users are welcome to search for information including upcoming events, dining and entertainment options and local retail shops. Interactive maps highlight beach access points, as well as bike corral spots, which are part of the new “Bike the Village” program formed in order to ease traffic in the City.
“This newly designed website puts the best of Carlsbad Village front and center,” said Doug Avis, Chair of the CVA Board of Directors. “We now have an information hub accessible from anywhere through which residents and visitors can learn about the wealth of opportunities and experiences The Village offers on a daily basis.”
The website consists of five major sections including the “What’s New” section which is updated on a constant basis. An interactive map about city plans, development opportunities and more are easily accessible. “Explore” takes users to a variety of recreational activities, dining opportunities, and entertainment and even has information regarding parking availability at the areas. “Events” keeps users up-to-date about events in The Village, “Getting Here” allows site users to research travel options when moving through The Village and “About Us” provides information about CVA.
