Bill Evans, an internationally recognized five-string banjo musician recently performed at The Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad. The event was part of a series of concerts the Museum is hosting for the exhibition “The Banjo: A New Day for an Old Instrument.”
Bill is the author of Banjo for Dummies, the most popular banjo book in the world. In addition, he hosts four critically-acclaimed instructional DVDs. He also writes a popular monthly instructional column for the Banjo newsletter magazine entitled All Strings Considered.

The Museum of Making Music’s special exhibit, “The Banjo: A New Day for an Old Instrument,” reveals a compelling and triumphant story about one of America’s most popular and widespread instrument.
